Abstract:   (10 Views)

The power supply chain is recognized as a vital infrastructure for societies today. The efficiency and safety of this infrastructure can contribute to the sustainable development and dynamism of countries. However, confronting risks such as outages, natural disasters, and unforeseen events poses significant challenges and risks to the power supply chain. The accurate identification and prioritization of these risks in supply chain planning are of great importance. This research aims to identify and rank the risks in the electricity industry supply chain through descriptive-survey research (sample size of 25) and the use of questionnaires (non-conformity rate of 0.72), statistical tools, and multi-criteria decision-making methods such as ARAS and FMEA. Among the results, it is evident that the highest risks are related to the lack of capacity in energy transmission lines, power outages, and inaccurate prediction of the required load at peak consumption times, leading to constraints on the utilization of power plant capacities. To manage these risks, the use of intelligent technologies to obtain more accurate information on energy consumption in different areas and optimize energy distribution in transmission lines can help reduce these risks.
