Considering the advantages of an expert system as a subset of artificial intelligence for simulating the behavior of an expertise in how to suggest a solution and moreover particular importance of statistical process control in the manufacturing industry, in this paper in addition to investigate the expert system (ES), a new expert system for statistical process control (ESSPC) has been developed.
The specific features of this system can be counted as recognition of the critical process and critical characteristic quality besides of other domains of the system, as specification of control chart, type of control chart, sampling, process stability, process capability, process improvement and corrective actions.
The other significant feature of this system is extracting about 124 rules of different sources as the abstracted knowledge in various domains.
This system has been created by VP Expert software .In order to evaluate of the validity, this system is implemented in several process of manufacturing industry and the results show the efficiency of the system. |
