1. Scope and General Requirements
The Iranian Electric Industry Journal of Quality and Productivity welcomes scholarly manuscripts addressing scientific, technical, managerial, methodological, and applied issues related to quality, productivity, and the electric power industry.
Authors are responsible for the scientific content and accuracy of their manuscripts.
All manuscripts must be prepared according to the journal's official manuscript template and instructions. Manuscripts that do not comply with the required format may be returned to the authors or removed from the submission process without peer review.
2. Types of Articles
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
•    Research / Original / Regular Articles
•    Review Articles
•    Case Studies
•    Methodological Papers
•    Applied Articles
•    Conceptual Papers
•    Technical Papers
•    Promotional Articles
3. Originality and Ethical Requirements
A submitted manuscript must be original and must not have been published previously in another journal.
A manuscript under consideration by this journal must not be simultaneously submitted to another journal.
Authors must ensure that all parts of the manuscript that are based on the work of others are appropriately cited.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for the use of copyrighted material, figures, tables, or other material where required.
The following forms must be completed and submitted with the manuscript:
•    Conflict of Interest Form
•    Author Commitment Form
•    Copyright Form
The corresponding author is responsible for confirming that all authors have approved the submitted manuscript and agree with its submission.
After the peer-review process has begun, changes to the list or order of authors, addition or removal of authors, or changes to the corresponding author are not permitted except in accordance with the journal's authorship policy and with appropriate justification.
4. Manuscript Submission
Authors must register on the journal's online submission system before submitting a manuscript.
Authors who have previously submitted a manuscript should use their existing personal account and should not create a new account.
All authors must be entered into the online submission system at the time of submission.
The corresponding author must provide complete and accurate information for all authors, including their names, institutional affiliations, and contact information.
During submission, authors should upload:
1.    A Word file containing the names and affiliations of the authors.
2.    A PDF file without the names or affiliations of the authors for the double-blind peer-review process.
The manuscript should be submitted through the journal's online submission system.
5. Peer Review
All manuscripts are evaluated through a Double-Blind Peer Review process.
In the double-blind review system, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.
Manuscripts are first subjected to an editorial and technical screening. Suitable manuscripts are then sent to independent reviewers according to the journal's peer-review policy.

6. Manuscript Length and Page Format
Manuscripts should not normally exceed 12 printed pages in the journal format.
Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word and the journal's official manuscript template.
The page size must be A4.
The page margins should be:
•    Top: 2.5 cm
•    Bottom: 2.5 cm
•    Left: 2 cm
•    Right: 2 cm
Manuscripts must be prepared in two columns.
Authors should use the journal's manuscript template, in which the required styles, fonts, headings, tables, figures, and other formatting elements are defined.
Page numbers, headers, and footers should not be added to the manuscript.
7. Title, Authors, and Affiliations
The title should be concise and accurately reflect the subject and contribution of the research.
The title must be provided in both Persian and English, where applicable.
The names of all authors must be provided in both Persian and English.
Academic titles such as Professor, Dr., or Engineer should not be included as part of the authors' names.
For each author, the institutional affiliation and relevant contact information should be provided.
The corresponding author's full postal address, telephone number, and email address should be clearly identified.
8. Abstract
The Persian abstract should clearly and concisely state the subject of the research and its main findings.
The abstract should:
•    Be no more than 400 words.
•    Be presented in one or two paragraphs.
•    Clearly describe the research topic and major results.
•    Avoid unnecessary details.
•    Not contain figures, tables, mathematical formulas, or references.
An English abstract is also required.
The English abstract should be approximately 400–800 words and should accurately correspond to the content of the Persian abstract.
9. Keywords
A maximum of 10 keywords should be provided.
Keywords should represent the main and secondary topics of the manuscript and should be arranged according to their relevance to the article.
Keywords must be provided in both Persian and English, where applicable.
Abbreviations should be written in their complete form when first introduced.
10. Organization of the Manuscript
A research article should normally contain the following major sections:
1.    Abstract
2.    Keywords
3.    Introduction
4.    Main Body / Research Methodology and Results
5.    Conclusion
6.    References
Optional sections such as Acknowledgments and Appendices may be included where appropriate.
The Introduction should begin with a general presentation of the research topic, followed by relevant previous studies and identification of the research gap. The objectives and contribution of the present study should then be clearly explained.
The main body should present the relevant concepts, research problem, methodology, analysis, results, and proposed solution or contribution in a logical sequence.
The Conclusion should summarize the main findings and clearly explain the scientific contribution of the article. It should not simply repeat the abstract.
11. Figures and Tables
All figures and tables must have appropriate titles or captions.
•    Figure captions should be placed below the figures.
•    Table titles should be placed above the tables.
•    Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively.
•    Every figure and table must be referred to in the text.
•    A figure or table should not appear before its first reference in the manuscript.
•    Figures and tables reproduced or adapted from other sources must be appropriately cited and, where necessary, used with permission.
Figures should be of sufficient quality and resolution for publication.
12. Mathematical Equations
Mathematical equations should preferably be prepared using an appropriate equation editor.
Each equation should be numbered consecutively.
All variables, parameters, and symbols used in equations should be clearly defined.
Equations should be referred to in the text before they appear.
Algorithms should also be appropriately numbered and referenced in the manuscript.
13. References
The journal uses the APA referencing style.
All references cited in the manuscript must appear in the reference list, and all references listed must be cited in the text.
Authors should ensure that bibliographic information is complete and accurate.
Where applicable, authors are encouraged to provide DOI information for references.
References should be arranged alphabetically according to the journal's reference-formatting requirements.
14. Language and Writing Quality
Manuscripts should be written clearly, concisely, and consistently.
Authors should avoid unnecessarily complicated sentences and excessive use of technical terminology without explanation.
English terminology should be used consistently throughout the manuscript.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is linguistically and grammatically suitable for publication.
15. Manuscript Template
Authors are strongly encouraged to prepare their manuscripts using the official manuscript template provided by the journal.
The template specifies the required page layout, fonts, headings, tables, figures, equations, references, and other formatting requirements.
Failure to comply with the journal's formatting requirements may result in the manuscript being returned to the authors before peer review.
16. Required Author Declarations
At the time of submission, authors are required to provide the following:
•    Confirmation that the manuscript is original.
•    Confirmation that the manuscript is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
•    Conflict of interest declaration.
•    Author commitment/declaration.
•    Copyright and licensing agreement.
•    Complete information for all authors.
Authors must disclose any relevant financial, commercial, institutional, or other relationships that could potentially influence the research.
17. Corresponding Author
The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editorial office throughout the submission, peer-review, revision, and publication processes.
The corresponding author must ensure that:
•    All authors have approved the submitted version.
•    All authors agree with the order of authorship.
•    All authors agree with the submission to the journal.
•    The information provided to the journal is complete and accurate.
18. Editorial Decision
The editorial office reserves the right to accept, reject, request revision of, or make editorial changes to submitted manuscripts in accordance with the journal's editorial and peer-review policies.
Compliance with the formatting requirements does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
The final publication decision is based on the editorial assessment and peer-review process.
19. Submission Checklist
Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that:
•    The manuscript follows the journal template.
•    The manuscript does not exceed 12 printed pages.
•    The manuscript is prepared in two columns.
•    The Persian and English titles are provided.
•    The Persian and English abstracts are provided.
•    No more than 10 keywords are provided.
•    All authors are correctly entered in the submission system.
•    A Word file containing author information is uploaded.
•    A PDF file without author information is uploaded for double-blind review.
•    All references cited in the text are included in the reference list.
•    The references follow APA style.
•    All figures and tables are numbered and cited in the text.
•    The Conflict of Interest Form has been completed.
•    The Author Commitment Form has been completed.
•    The Copyright Form has been completed.
•    The manuscript has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere.
Important: Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's submission and formatting requirements may be removed from the submission process and may not be sent for peer review
