The Iranian Electric Industry Journal of Quality and Productivity (IEIJQP) is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics, research integrity, and transparency.
The journal follows recognized principles of ethical scholarly publishing and expects authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher to act responsibly and ethically.
IEIJQP does not tolerate plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, simultaneous submission, manipulation of the peer review process, or other forms of research and publication misconduct.
Authors' Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for:
•    submitting original work;
•    accurately reporting research findings;
•    properly acknowledging sources;
•    avoiding plagiarism;
•    avoiding duplicate or redundant publication;
•    avoiding simultaneous submission to multiple journals;
•    appropriately identifying authors and contributors;
•    disclosing relevant conflicts of interest;
•    declaring relevant funding and financial support;
•    obtaining required ethical approvals where applicable; and
•    responding appropriately to editorial and reviewer comments.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism, including the unauthorized use of another person's words, ideas, data, figures, tables, or other intellectual contributions without appropriate attribution, is considered serious publication misconduct.
Manuscripts may be checked for plagiarism or inappropriate text similarity during the editorial process.
Fabrication and Falsification
Fabrication of data, results, experiments, or other research information is prohibited.
Falsification or inappropriate manipulation of data, methods, images, results, or research records is also prohibited.
Duplicate and Redundant Publication
A manuscript must not be simultaneously submitted to another journal.
Authors must disclose substantial overlap between the submitted manuscript and their previously published or submitted work.
Authorship
Authorship should accurately reflect substantial contributions to the research and manuscript.
All listed authors should approve the final manuscript and agree to its submission.
Requests for changes in authorship after submission must be appropriately justified and approved by all affected authors.
Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose financial, professional, personal, or other relationships that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the research or publication process.
Editors and reviewers must also disclose relevant conflicts of interest and should not participate in the evaluation of manuscripts where such conflicts exist.
Reviewers' Responsibilities
Reviewers must:
•    maintain confidentiality;
•    provide objective and constructive comments;
•    identify relevant scientific or ethical concerns;
•    avoid personal criticism;
•    disclose conflicts of interest; and
•    not use unpublished information obtained during peer review for personal or professional advantage.
Editors' Responsibilities
Editors are responsible for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the editorial process.
Editorial decisions should be based on the scientific quality, originality, relevance, and ethical compliance of manuscripts.
Editors must manage conflicts of interest and should ensure that manuscripts are evaluated fairly and independently.
Research Involving Human Participants or Animals
Where applicable, authors must comply with relevant ethical standards and obtain the required ethical approvals for research involving human participants, animals, or potentially identifiable personal information.
Corrections and Retractions
The journal will correct the published record when significant errors are identified.
Articles may be retracted when there is reliable evidence of serious research or publication misconduct or when major errors invalidate the published findings.
Corrections and retractions will be clearly identified and linked to the original article where technically possible.
Complaints
Complaints concerning publication ethics, authorship, plagiarism, conflicts of interest, peer review, or editorial decisions may be submitted to the Editorial Office.
Complaints will be handled fairly, confidentially, and in accordance with the nature of the issue.
