:: Conflict of Interest Policy ::
 | Last update: 2026/09/16 |

The Iranian Electric Industry Journal of Quality and Productivity (IEIJQP) requires authors, editors, and reviewers to disclose any conflict of interest that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the research, review, or publication process.
Authors
Authors must disclose financial, professional, institutional, personal, or other relationships that may influence or appear to influence the research or its publication.
Potential conflicts may include:
•    research funding;
•    financial relationships;
•    employment or consultancy;
•    patents or patent applications;
•    personal or professional relationships;
•    institutional interests; and
•    other circumstances that may affect the objectivity of the work.
The corresponding author is responsible for coordinating the disclosure of conflicts of interest among all authors.
Reviewers
Reviewers must disclose any conflict of interest before accepting a manuscript for review.
A reviewer should decline the review if a conflict could reasonably affect their objectivity.
Editors
Editors must not participate in editorial decisions involving manuscripts where they have a conflict of interest.
When necessary, an appropriate independent editor may be assigned to handle such manuscripts.
Disclosure
Authors are required to complete the journal's Conflict of Interest Declaration during the submission process.
The absence of a declared conflict does not prevent the journal from requesting additional information when necessary.
Integrity of the Publication Process
Disclosure of a conflict of interest does not necessarily mean that a manuscript cannot be published.
The purpose of disclosure is to ensure transparency and allow readers and editors to evaluate potential sources of influence appropriately.
